Ok so I am completely out of ideas. For blogging that is :) I could blog about swimming but I talk about it enough as is. I could blog about school but its the same story. I can always blog about God but im not good at it and do Him no justice. Oh boy. I need some ideas. Most of you know how to reach me. If not just comment. I do have one thing to say though: While at City Meet this weekend, I was preparing to swim when a guy walked by who was a little older than me. On his arm, in water-proof pen he had written "I swim for His glory". I was actually very affected. So affected that I went and told him so! So this week, whether you eat or drink or what ever you do, do it for the glory of God. See ya :) -B
P.S. Ignore any spelling errors. I am having a bad time with my keyboard :p

Pray: God Hears You
Wow, it's been to long since I have posted! I had been waiting for an inspiring thing to post here, and I got it this morning while doing a devotion with my family. This story is completely true, and it has encouraged me to pray. Because I know some one's listening.
A few years ago, a family in our church (the Ruths) lost a dear family member to cancer. Another family in our church (the Sanders) were good friends with the Ruths and were feeling the loss as well. Mrs. Sanders decided she wanted to do something to show the Ruths that they were thinking of them and praying for them in their time of need. For some reason, she really wanted to get them some Cinnabon cinnamon rolls. So they went to the mall and bought them some! When Mr. Sanders went to the door to drop them off, Mr. Ruth was very obviously puzzled. The next time they Mr. Ruth saw Mr. Sanders, he explained why he acted so. His young son, Preston (only about 7 at the time), had asked his dad for some cinnamon rolls. Being late in the evening the answer was no. He REALLY wanted those cinnamon rolls though! So Mr. Ruth told him to go pray and ask God to bring him some cinnamon rolls. And he did.
See?! God hears all of our prayers! Even innocent requests for cinnamon rolls from a child. So do you think God hears you?

Looking Back at Summer 2010!
Wow. 2010 was here and now its gone. This year was really, really awesome :) When I look back on it (not surprisingly) I see my summer. One of the best summers ever! Last summer we had the best vacation ever, but this summer was just FULL of great stuff! First: I got off school! That's a blessing in its self! Second: June was really fun! Track was SUPER HARD because it was about 105 degrees. But still fun. I mean who doesn't love the feeling of crossing the finish line after a race?! Also, throughout June, my wonderful friend Brianna and her family planned weekly activities that were, lets say interesting, though probably the best time I had that month! We went to "the Y" (river in the mountains. it was freezing BTW :)) every Tuesday, and then the park every Thursday. I only made it to one park day but it was still real fun! That was June and now July! YAY MY B-DAY!! I turned 14 on July, 7. The next day we went to a different location of probably the same river we went to earlier. It may have been the best day of that summer! Maybe. Then the icing on the cake (and guys tell me if I have dates mixed up!): Advance. Our Youth group retreat. During those three days I got sick, got scared to death multiple times by my guy friends, played the same card game like a million times, and got the closest to God I ever think I have. It was amazing! By far the best retreat ever. I'm sure my friends agree :) don't you guys? I loved my summer and i'm looking forward to summer 2011...oh yeah and I'll be driving in this one ;) be careful. Thanks to all my friends for sharing that memorable summer with me, and thanks you God for allowing it to be so! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
